Description
It is Monday, but snow, blowing snow and cold temperatures mean that more than 300 school districts will not be in session today. It was a harrowing overnight with heavy snow in southern Indiana and slick roads and difficult travel just about everywhere in central Indiana. That kind of weather continues today.
Key notes for Monday:
Winter Storm Warning until 7 p.m.
Blowing and drifting will be an issue with east-west winds most affected by the 30 mph winds that will be with us most of the day.
Wind chills will be in the single digits, making frostbite possible to unprotected skin in about 20 minutes.
