Description
13News team coverage on the winter storm in central Indiana at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2025. -- It is Monday, but snow, blowing snow and cold temperatures mean that more than 300 school districts will not be in session today. It was a harrowing overnight with heavy snow in southern Indiana and slick roads and difficult travel just about everywhere in central Indiana. That kind of weather continues today. Key notes for Monday: - Winter Storm Warning until 7 p.m. - Blowing and drifting will be an issue with east-west winds most affected by the 30 mph winds that will be with us most of the day. - Wind chills will be in the single digits, making frostbite possible to unprotected skin in about 20 minutes.
