Description
State police are searching for a man who allegedly shot an Orange County sheriff's deputy early Friday.
Police issued a Blue Alert Friday morning for 33-year-old Austin Schepers of Jasper, who is suspected of shooting Deputy Zach Andry just before 1 a.m. on Jan. 3.
ISP Sgt. John Davis told WAVE-TV in Louisville the traffic stop occurred at SR 56 and U.S. 150 north of West Baden Springs, Indiana. When Andry tried to get out of his vehicle, Davis said Schepers started shooting.
