Description
IMPD is investigating after one man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting Friday afternoon on the city's near southwest side.
Police responded to a report of a person shot around 3:45 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 1800 block of Howard Street, near West Morris Street and South Belmont Avenue.
Officers arrived and found two men who had been shot. Police confirmed one man was pronounced dead at the scene, and medics took the second man to a hospital in critical condition.
