Description
Police will always be paying close attention to the roads. According to Indiana State Police from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day, there were 724 crashes in the state with eight deaths.
To prevent more crashes like this, ISP urges people to prepare their nights.
"Go ahead and get your rideshare prepared with a pickup time, if you are going to a friend's house you can say, 'hey I am going to spend the evening here,' or go ahead and book your hotel room so that way you are safe in the evening and when you wake up in the morning, you'll be ready to celebrate 2025," ISP Sgt. Matt Ames.
