IMPD announced the arrest of an 18-year-old Tuesday morning who was shot inside Castleton Square Mall, on the city's northeast side, during a busy holiday shopping period. The man who was arrested faces a preliminary charge of felony intimidation with a deadly weapon for his alleged involvement in the shooting. Police told 13News he is not believed to be the shooter, though. Police were called to the mall, off East 82nd Street near Interstate 465, around 8:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23 by off-duty officers working security there. The mall was immediately evacuated after the gunfire.
