A 38-year-old northern Indiana woman is under arrest after police say she was intoxicated while she was performing her school bus driving duties back in September. According to a social media post from the La Porte County Sheriff's Office, on Sept. 20, the woman was allegedly driving a school bus carrying 32 passengers from La Porte Middle School to Riley Elementary School. During the drive, students began to report strange driving behavior and mannerisms from their bus driver. The school corporation's transportation director reportedly intercepted the bus and removed its driver. Police say the driver resigned from the school corporation later that day.
