Description
Richard Allen was sentenced Friday, Dec. 20 to 130 years for the 2017 Delphi murders of Abby Williams and Libby German.
Special Judge Frances Gull sentenced Allen to 65 years for the murder of Abby and 65 years for the murder of Libby, the maximum length for both the charges.
Gull said to Allen, "you rank right up there with the most hideous crimes" she's presided over in 27 years.
Gull told the court there was a "generational impact" on the families of the two girls. The term was coined by Libby's grandmother in speaking to the judge and courtroom, saying the impact of these murders is going to last for generations.
