A man is dead after a police chase that started in Tipton County ended in a crash near Arcadia in Hamilton County early Thursday morning. Hamilton County Coroner Jeff Jellison confirmed a man died after a crash in the northbound lanes of U.S. 31, just south of 276th Street near Arcadia, on Dec. 12. An autopsy has been performed, but the cause of death is pending toxicology results. The coroner has not released the identity of the dead driver.
