Description
Police say a 73-year-old man drove from Lincoln, Nebraska to a laundromat in Lafayette where he shot three people he didn't know, killing one of them, before shooting himself.
According to Lafayette Police, Louis McGlothlin left Lincoln early on the morning of Dec. 5. He arrived at the laundromat in the 3100 block of South Street in Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. that evening. Police say video shows McGlothlin enter the business and start shooting.
He shot three people. 35-year-old Keith Ford was killed. A man and woman are still recovering in the hospital. The 32-year-old woman was shot four times, and is in the hospital in Indianapolis. A 30-year-old man was shot once and has been released from the hospital.
Police say McGlothlin fired eight times before leaving the store and shooting himself in the head. McGlothlin died from his injury.
