Description
An Indianapolis man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to commercial robbery and attempted commercial robbery.
Alonzo Wiatt Sansbury, 56, committed an attempted robbery at a Dollar Tree near North Keystone Avenue on May 17, 2024, according to court documents.
The Department of Justice said Sansbury committed an armed robbery at Big Lots, near North Allisonville Road, just a few hours later that same day.
The DOJ said Sansbury robbed the store using an object he insinuated was a gun, threatened violence and stole an unspecified amount of cash.
