A man is in critical condition he was trapped inside of a house fire Monday morning on Indy's near southeast side. The fire was reported around 8 a.m. Dec. 9 on the 1600 block of East Kelly Street, near South State Avenue and Walker Avenue. The Indianapolis Fire Department said a man in his late 60s/early 70s was found inside the burning home "barely conscious." Firefighters were able to get the man out of the home by using the side window on the unburned side. He is currently in critical condition.
