An investigation is underway after a fatal fire killed 1 person and caused damage to an apartment complex in Greenwood Sunday morning. The Greenwood Fire Department was dispatched to the 400 block of Clearview Drive in the Clearview Apartments, near U.S. Hwy. 31 North and County Road 900 North, for a report of an explosion just after 11 a.m. Dec. 8. When fire crews arrived on scene, they found a single-story home on fire. An evacuation was already in progress.
