Indiana State Police and the State Fire Marshal's office are investigating after a house fire killed a 2-year-old and injured an infant Saturday afternoon. According to a news release from ISP, around 12:10 p.m. on Nov. 30, firefighters were called to the 600 block of Columbus Street in Wabash on a report of a house fire. A passerby reportedly saw the fire and alerted family members who were in a separate part of the house. The Wabash Fire Department arrived on scene and found the building actively burning. The Noble Township Fire Department was called to assist.
