As several central Indiana holiday events kick off this weekend, one Mooresville event is cleaning up after possible vandalism. "The entire row was completely down, and the tree trunks were broken in half," Regina Shelby with Victorian Christmas says. Shelby said 11 of their 20 trees were destroyed Thanksgiving night. The trees were put up for the 35th annual town holiday event for next Saturday. "They took the bottoms of the trees, bent them over and stomped on the tree trunk to make it break," she said. "It was devastating to see somebody wanted to ruin what we were trying to do." While all of the new trees have been put up and redecorated, organizers say this did not only effect their event, but the 20 local businesses and organizations that helped make each tree unique.
