Description
A man has died after he reportedly walked into a north Indianapolis McDonald's restaurant with a gunshot wound Saturday evening.
According to IMPD, shortly after 9 p.m. on Nov. 23, officers were called to 2425 East 38th Street, which is listed as a McDonald's restaurant near Keystone Avenue on Indy's north side, on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male who had been shot. The man was taken to Methodist Hospital in "extremely critical" condition, but later died at the hospital.
According to IMPD Capt. Don Weilhammer, witnesses told police the man walked into the restaurant and told people he'd been shot. Police believe the shooting occurred outside the restaurant.
