A deadly crash caused significant delays Friday morning on Interstate 69 in Fishers.
According to a release from Indiana State Police, around 4:20 a.m. on Nov. 22, first responders were called to the 208.6 mile marker of I-69, which is near Fishers High School, on a report of a serious crash.
When first responders arrived, they found an unresponsive man lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a preliminary investigation, police believe the man was crossing the interstate from the west to the east when he was struck by a semi trailer. The driver of the semi stayed at the scene and waited for police to arrive.
