Description
A couple in Johnson County wants to open up their property to the public — build a cluster of cottages, shops and a learning village on their farm.
The land is located off Olive Branch Road, not far from Center Grove High School.
It's across from typical subdivisions, but this proposal is anything but typical.
Beyond the gate at Olive Branch Farm sits a park-like property on 23 acres — trees, farmland and free-roaming animals, all surrounded by regular neighborhoods.
But homeowners Joshua and Sarah Janisse Brown have ambitious, unconventional plans.
They want to take their own land and create a mixed-use community on it, called Olive Branch Village.
