A man was arrested and two police officers were injured after a shooting in the Smoketown neighborhood Tuesday evening. At about 8 p.m., Louisville Metro police were dispatched to the 400 block of Roselane Street on report of a stolen vehicle with a broken window, according to an arrest citation. When officers arrived on scene, they found Jeremiah Thompson, 19, standing next to a gray 2018 Kia Soul, the same vehicle that was reported stolen. He told officers he had been driving the vehicle. Officers attempted to detain Thompson who began resisting arrest, according to his arrest citation. Officers took him to the ground but Thompson still refused to give officers his hands.
