Description
Eastbound Raymond Street was closed on Indianapolis' southeast side Thursday morning after a serious crash involving a pedestrian.
The crash was reported around 7:45 a.m. Oct. 31 near the intersection of East Raymond Street and Sloan Avenue, west of Emerson Avenue.
An IMPD spokesperson said a pedestrian who had been struck by a car was "awake and breathing" when taken to Eskenazi Hospital. Police at the scene told 13News the pedestrian's condition was serious, and the driver involved stayed at the scene.
