Description
Two men were critically injured after a shooting on Indy's east side Saturday afternoon.
According to IMPD, shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 26, officers responded to the 5400 block of East 38th Street, near Emerson Avenue, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was reportedly transported to a local hospital by IEMS and is in critical condition.
A short time later, officers were called just down the road to the intersection of East 38th Street and North Arlington Avenue on a report of another person shot. IMPD says another man was found with gunshot wounds and is also in critical condition.
IMPD says preliminary investigations lead officers to believe the two shootings are related.
