When you walk through downtown Indianapolis this week, you'll be in a sea of blue and gold. Starting Wednesday, Oct. 23, over 70,000 students will be here for the 97th National FFA Convention. "Fall is my favorite time of year because of the foliage, colors, the beauty and, of course, the blue jackets," Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch said. Students will take part in competitions, days of services and even leadership classes where they can meet employers from all over the country. It's not just the convention growing in size but the organization as a whole. Leaders told 13News this year, they have officially hit 1 million members nationwide.
