Description
On Thursday, Oct. 17, 100 students from across the Indianapolis metro area will be honored as the first students to graduate from a unique program on the city's far east side: 300 Cameras for 300 Kids.
The photography program is aimed at providing the city's youth with opportunities to develop their skills through a lens.
The first cohort of 100 students went through six weeks of training, learning the basics of cameras and how to take photos of people and nature, as well as editing.
Some students said it showed them gifts they never knew they had.
