Description

Police in Avon are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy over the weekend. The police department told 13News the crash happened on U.S. 36 at Avon Village Parkway on Sunday, Oct. 13. Braxton Garvin, a seventh grader at Avon Middle School South, was struck while riding his bicycle. Police say the crash remains under investigation, but that the driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Garvin was taken to Riley Hospital for Children, where he died from his injuries.
