IMPD is investigating after a woman was killed in a shooting outside a hotel on Indianapolis' southwest side Wednesday night. The shooting was reported around 9 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 2600 block of South Lynhurst Drive, near Sam Jones Expressway. A department spokesperson said officers responding to a report of a person shot found a female with a gunshot wound(s) in the parking lot of the hotel. She was pronounced dead at the scene. On Oct. 17, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 23-year-old Chasidy Hahn and ruled her death a homicide. "What we've been able to find out so is far is there was some type of disturbance in the parking lot and then shots fired rang out," IMPD Capt. Don Weilhamer said.
