Description
On the near north side of Indianapolis, a fire spread across there homes in the 2000 block of North College Avenue, just a couple blocks from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
Several crews responded to the fire just before 4 a.m. and battled the blaze and smoke for almost two hours, leaving one firefighter with slight injuries.
IFD believes the main two homes affected were vacant, and another home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
Investigators are now working to learn how the fire started.
North College Avenue was closed for several hours as crews worked to clear and investigate the scene.
