An Indianapolis college announced Monday its plans for a free half-day preschool program. Martin University is enrolling children between the ages of 3 and 4 for its Pre-K Care & Learning Center located on campus at 2186 N. Sherman Drive. University officials said the "drop-in" program starts Sept. 9 with two sessions to choose from — one from 8 a.m. to noon and one from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Officials noted the program is free and open to the public.
