The jet stream will flatten out and drop south a bit closer to Indiana. Some rain and thunder chances may increase around the holiday. High-end severe weather is not expected, but a few wind storms could be possible around the Corn Belt. Expect on-and-off rain chances around the 4th of July. It is too early to know when it will rain or how much, especially when it comes to planning events. In the meantime, just plan to be looking at unsettled weather. -13News Meteorologist Matt Standridge
