The incident happened Tuesday morning in the 7000 block of Beech Grove Road, near State Road 39. While deputies were walking around the house to check if they could see anyone in the home, Myers said someone from inside the home shot at deputies, with one shot hitting Deputy Mallory Schwab in her right shoulder.
