Indiana State Police have been asked to investigate an inmate's death Sunday morning at a northern Indiana jail. According to ISP, around 3:15 a.m. on July 13, jail staff at the St. Joseph County Jail found 28-year-old inmate Janette Navarro of South Bend unresponsive in her cell. The staff then reportedly began life-saving efforts until EMTs could arrive, but she was ultimately pronounced dead at the jail.
