A 5-year-old was rescued after a fire broke out at an apartment on the north side of Indianapolis Saturday morning. According to a release from the Indianapolis Fire Department, around 8:10 a.m. on July 12, firefighters were called to the 2800 block of Barbary Lane at the Seven Pointe Apartments, which is near East 46th Street and Allisonville Road on Indy's north side, on a report of a fire with entrapment.
