Indianapolis police are investigating after a 2-year-old girl was shot and killed on the near northeast side. According to IMPD, shortly after noon Friday, July 11, officers responded to Methodist Hospital on a report of a walk-in person shot. When police arrived, they said they found a young girl who had been fatally shot. Police believe the child was shot in the 2000 block of Ralston Avenue, near I-70 and Rural Street, just northeast of downtown Indianapolis.
