IMPD announced Thursday it has made an arrest in a hit-and-run that happened in June on the east side of Indianapolis. According to IMPD, on June 15, officers responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of North Arlington Avenue, near East 16th Street, in which a person had been struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found a man "suffering from injuries consistent with being struck by a car." He was transported to a local hospital in "serious" condition, police said.
