Description
A Bloomington man is back in jail, accused of trying to rape a woman on a walking trail just months after he took a plea deal in a separate attempted rape case from last summer.
Manuel Lopez Lopez, 39, is charged with attempted rape, criminal confinement, and battery resulting in bodily injury.
According to court documents, just before 11 p.m. on July 2, police responded to the B-Line Trail near West 10th Street after a woman was heard screaming for help.
