Description
The family of a Marion County sheriff's deputy killed in the line of duty is now taking legal action.
The estate of Deputy John Durm has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Eskenazi Hospital and Cintas Corporation.
Durm was killed July 10, 2023 when he returned from Eskenazi with an inmate, Orlando Mitchell. Investigators allege Mitchell attacked Durm outside of the Community Justice Campus.
