Officials believe a 14-year-old boy is dead after drowning in a northeast Indianapolis lake over the weekend. On Sunday, July 6, the teen was reported to be submerged underwater after swimming off of a pontoon boat in a lake in the 5800 block of East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive, near East 56th Street and Fall Creek Road. When officials arrived on scene around 6:30 p.m., friends of the boy said they had jumped in the water after him to try and search for him when he didn't come back up.
