IMPD is investigating two people shot on the east side of Indianapolis early Saturday morning. Officers were called to the 300 block of Peach Tree Lane around 3 a.m. on July 5. That's near East Washington Street and I-465. When officers arrived, they found two people suffering from what is believed to be gunshot wounds.
