Description
IMPD says two people are dead and several others were injured in a mass shooting in downtown Indianapolis early Saturday morning.
IMPD said at 1:27 a.m. July 5, officers were investigating a "disturbance" at West Washington and South Meridian streets when they learned of another disturbance at South Illinois and West Washington streets.
"This kind of violence downtown or in any of our neighborhoods is completely unacceptable and unnecessary," IMPD Chief Chris Bailey said.
