Police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found in a pond on the northwest side of Indianapolis Wednesday. The body, which is believed to be that of an adult male, was discovered in the water in the 8700 block of Purdue Road, near West 86th Street and Michigan Road, around 1 p.m. July 2. IMPD shared few details about the scene, but confirmed they are actively investigating the person's death.
