Eagle Creek Park Beach is reopening Wednesday, July 2 after a closure due to elevated levels of E. coli. The beach on the northwest side of Indianapolis had closed the previous week after a routine water test found the elevated levels. In an update on social media July 1, Indy Parks and Recreation said it had been given the green light to open the swim area "since our water test showed acceptable E. coli levels."
