Description
Indiana University Indianapolis is among several colleges and universities across the state adjusting their degree offerings following the implementation of a new state law aimed at reshaping higher education.
Despite the changes, university officials said they have already taken steps to minimize the impact on students and faculty.
“What we are focused on, as I said before, is to make sure the students we graduate have the skills they need to be employable in the marketplace,” said IU Indianapolis Chancellor Latha Ramchand. “Making sure we focus on programs where there is a demand for that skill is always going to be our goal.”
