During the pandemic, Americans were saving a lot of money.
Now, that number is lower.
Greg McBride, with Bankrate, said a majority of Americans are not comfortable with what they have stashed away.
"Fewer than half of Americans, 46%, have enough emergency savings to cover three months' worth of expenses," McBride said.
The reason?
Inflation and high prices.
"It's made it very difficult to save or replenish what people had used," McBride said.
