A Tipton County home was destroyed over the weekend after a large fire ignited it. Around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, June 28, several fire crews responded to the area of 6500 East 450 South, near Elwood, on a report of a house fire. When Wildcat Township, Madison Township, Cicero Township and Elwood firefighters arrived on the scene, they were met with a heavy fire and smoke.
