Description

IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting Sunday afternoon on Indy's near east side. According to IMPD, just before 3 p.m. on June 29, officers were called to the 3500 block of Southeastern Avenue, near South Sherman Drive, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition before he was pronounced dead.
