One person is dead and another is in custody after a shooting in Plainfield Friday afternoon. The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. June 27 in the 2000 block of Creekhollow Road, near The Shops at Perry Crossing. Officers responding to the scene found the victim deceased. Police took a person of interest into custody after the shooting and say they are not seeking anyone else who may have been involved in the incident.
