Indianapolis City-County Councilor Crista Carlino is no longer a member of the Democratic caucus, after her fellow members of the caucus voted to remove her, Councilor Ron Gibson told 13News Wednesday. Carlino is one of the councilors who called for Mayor Joe Hogsett's resignation after a law firm released a report on the investigation into sexual harassment allegations. That investigation was into the mayor's former chief of staff and campaign manager, Thomas Cook. Gibson told 13News the caucus would consider reinstating Carlino if she came out with a public apology regarding her statements about the council president and vice president. According to Gibson, Carlino would not commit to that.
