Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead and a man injured on the east side of Indianapolis late Friday. According to IMPD, just before 11:30 p.m. June 20, officers responded to a report of a person shot at the 2400 block of North Kenyon Street, just west of Shadeland Avenue and Interstate 70. Officers arrived on scene and found a woman shot in the road. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition where she ultimately died.
