Evansville police are investigating after one person was killed and multiple others were injured following a shooting after a "large party" Sunday morning. According to the Evansville Police Department, around 12:30 a.m. on June 15, officers were called to the 300 block of Taylor Avenue on the south side of Evansville on a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they learned a large party had just wrapped up at the location. Police say that as people were leaving the party, shots were fired outside the venue.
