One person is dead and 11 people are injured after a shooting in northern Indiana early Sunday morning. According to the Elkhart Police Department, just after 1 a.m. June 15, officers responded to the 300 block of West Garfield Avenue in response to a shots fired call. At this point in the investigation, police said 12 people have either arrived at or were taken to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. One of those twelve people were pronounced dead.
