Metro Police says Indianapolis averages three to seven domestic homicides a year — a statistic pushing police and advocates to make impacts and arrests.
Between June 9 and 13, IMPD’s Violent Crime Unit teamed up with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and federal agents to serve arrest warrants as part of "Operation Domestic Disruption."
